Technician Career Pathways
The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½Ó°ÊÓ has two main Career Pathways for technicians.
Technicians are required to fill various roles in the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½Ó°ÊÓ. We have 'general roles' which provide subject-based technical support to teaching or research area. Other technical members of staff are dedicated to specialist equipment, techniques or groups. To ensure all technicians know where they fit on a career pathway and to give consistency in grading and roles, the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½Ó°ÊÓ has two main Career Pathways for technicians; Generalist/Managerial, and Specialist.
