Buying a membership

We offer bronze, silver and gold membership packages so you can find a membership to suit your lifestyle.

When you buy a membership through our booking portal, you'll be prompted to sign in with your Sussex email address and password. Once logged in, select the buy a membership block and choose which membership tier you'd like to purchase.

Pay for memberships through your salary

If you work for Sussex, you can pay for gold and silver memberships via monthly salary deduction (subject to contract).

To sign up to monthly salary deduction, email sussexsport@sussex.ac.uk.

SussexUniFood, Co-op, Balfour Beatty FM and SEF staff can pay for their memberships via standing order. Please ask at either the Sport Centre or Falmer Sports Complex reception for details.

Bronze membership

For only £30 a year, you'll have access to:

• reduced rate pay-and-play fitness room use (from £4.50 a visit)
• reduced rate pay-per-class group fitness classes (from £5 a visit)
• reduced rate pay-and-play racket sports court hire (from £3.50 a visit)
• seven days advance booking rights for classes and courts
• gym introduction on request.

Silver membership

For £220 a year, you'll have access to:

• off-peak fitness room use (until 2.30pm)
• unlimited group fitness classes
• off-peak racket sports court hire (until 4pm)
• 10 days advance booking rights for classes and courts
• gym introduction on request.

Gold membership

For £275 a year, you'll have access to:

• anytime gym use
• gym introduction on request
• unlimited group fitness classes
• anytime racket sports court hire
• 14 days advance booking rights for classes and courts
• access to more than 90 facilities at 75 universities nationwide with BUCS UNIversal Gym.
