On this module, you’ll gain one of the basic philosophical skills: formal reasoning.
The module is specifically designed to engage those who are already familiar with logic through mathematics or computer coding, while also enabling those less comfortable with formal systems to thrive both inside and outside of philosophy.
You’ll develop your ability to analyse complex arguments in order to arrive at rational, evidence-based beliefs. You’ll learn how to construct reasoned arguments in order to make appropriate and well-informed decisions.
