Module learning outcomes

Compare and contrast Indigenous legal thought and practice to western legal systems.

Apply Indigenous legal concepts and principles to critically evaluate different social and legal justice issues affecting Indigenous communities in the jurisdictions studied.

Critically assess different social and legal justice issues faced by Aboriginal communities in the jurisdictions studied.

Develop a coherent written argument using legal terminology and drawing on existing law and/or key academic literature in the area of Aboriginal rights.
